The Original GreenSky Veggie Boost

Designed perfectly to have daily first thing in the morning for a boost of greens the original green smoothie is ideal, nutritious and delicious.

 

Pod Instructions

Pour 1 pod into a glass and add 200ml± of any water (e.g. spring, mineral, coconut) and stir.

Kiwi Green Smoothie

Ingredients

1 GreenSky veggie pod (3tbs)

1 medium or large kiwi fruit

1 tbs hemp seeds

1 tbs tahini

1-2 dates (or maple syrup) for taste

1 cup of water

Instructions

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

If the kiwis are small, use two.

If you like sweeter things, you can add two dates, however one is normally sweet enough, maple syrup could also be used if you don’t have dates.

For extra zing, add in 1 drop lime and 1 drop lemon doTerra essential oil.

GreenSky Energy Smoothie

Ingredients

½ ripe avocado

1 GreenSky veggie pod (3x tbs)

300ml almond milk or milk of choice

3tbs coconut oil or MCT oil

40g walnuts

35g cashews

1tbs sunflower seeds

1tbs chia seeds

Juice 1 small lime

Optional sweetener: add ½ cup of frozen pineapple

Instructions

  1. For a creamier texture, soak nuts for 10 min. in hot water.

  2. Start by blending the drained pre-soaked nuts (or raw un-soaked).

  3. Add in the avocado, lime juice and veggie pod.

  4. Last, add the oil and the seeds and blend until smooth.

KETO FRIENDLY.  Avocado has monounsaturated fat and is high in fibre. It's potassium minerals helps regulate blood and hormones.  The nuts and seeds are high in omega 3, minerals and protein which supports bone, joint and heart health.  Great for hormone health, hair, skin and nails.

Red-GreenSky Frappe

Ingredients

1 small beetroot or 2 cups of beet juice

1 GreenSky veggie pod (3x tbs)

2-3 cups water, depending how thin

you want your frappe

1 cup ice

1 to 2 GreenSky veggie pods

1 cup green or red grapes

Instructions

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Fibre booster.  Beetroot is the most rich antioxidant vegetable.  

A diet high in antioxidants may reduce the risk of many diseases, including heart disease and certain cancers. Antioxidants scavenge free radicals from the body cells, and prevent or reduce the damage caused by oxidation. 

Basil Berry Protein Shake

Ingredients

250ml purified water OR coconut water

1-2 cups mixed berries.  (frozen or fresh)

1½ scoops vanilla protein powder

1 GreenSky veggie pod (3 tbs)

5-10 fresh basil leaves

1tbs hemp or chia seeds

6 ice cubes (either blended with

shake ingredients or pour over ice after blending)

Optional: 1 tsp psyllium husk

Optional: 1-2 tbs maple syrup or honey or 1 date  

Instructions

Blend in a high-speed blender until smooth

Big bang! Beautiful berries with all of those antioxidant properties which the brain just loves.  For the extra wow factor the protein and fibre especially for those who are not getting enough fibre.  You're getting your greens and reds and it's super yummy.  Basil have essential oils, good for digestion and bad breath!!  

GreenSky Strawberry Mocktail

Ingredients

½ cups frozen strawberries

½ cups red or green grapes

1 GreenSky veggie pod (3 tbs)

1 cup coconut cream

(or coconut water or

sparkling mineral water)

Pinch of cinnamon

Pinch celtic or sea salt

 

GreenSky Strawberry Cocktail

Add rum

or

Replace coconut cream with sparkling white wine or Prosecco

Instructions

Blend in a high-speed until smooth

Real fruit increases antioxidants especially  in the skin of the grapes.  The cinnamon spice balances out blood sugar.  Salt helps balance out the sweetness of the fruit and adds trace minerals into your body.

GreenSky Party Colada 

Serves 6

Ingredients

1-2 limes or 6 drops of lime essential oil

2 GreenSky veggie pod (3 tbs)

1 small can coconut milk

2 cups frozen pineapple chunks

3 coriander leaves or 6 drops

cilantro essential oil

GreenSky Pina Colada

Add rum

Instructions

Juice limes then add all ingredients to blender. Blend at high-speed until smooth.

Serve with mineral water.

Add toasted coconut for garnish.

The combination of the pineapple, coriander and the veggie pod makes this a very refreshing and nutritious drink.  The coriander is a wonderful herb that helps your body flush out toxic metals.  Gorgeous on a hot day.
